There are opportunities for women of all ages to connect over a cup of coffee, a walk, Bible study, prayer, social events, mentoring relationships, and service. If you’d like info about current opportunities, we’d encourage you to sign up for the GCPC Google Group / Email List.

Ways to Connect

Spring Women’s Opportunities

• Women’s Bible Study: A Fruitful Life by Bryce and Ashley Hales. 8 weeks of study on the Sermon on the Mount.

  Choose from two times:

  Thursdays, 10-11:30am at GCPC, Zoom option available, begins Feb 5, OR Monday nights 7-8:30pm in Christiansbrug, meets 3 weeks/month, begins Feb 9.

• Women’s Clothing Swap- Mar 21, 10:30am-12pm at Christi’s house in Christiansburg. RSVP by Mar 16 for further details. Bring a snack to share and 5+ items in good condition to swap: pants, shirts, dresses, coats, shoes, accessories, etc. Friends are warmly welcome! Remaining clothes will be donated to Thrift Well, which supports women in recovery.

• Reply by Mar 22: Would you be interested in a short term group on Walking with God through Fear and Anxiety? We’d meet 6 times, 8 weeks apart to learn new skills, talk, pray, and encourage each other to lean on the Lord’s kind care. You can let us know if you’re interested here.

• Mentoring & Discipleship- Would you like to grow in your faith in partnership with another person? Mentoring / Discipleship can look like catching up over walks, conversation over coffee, prayer, Bible Study, or exploring a topic together. Pairs set their own schedule and duration. • Home Fellowship Groups are highly recommended!  They are a great way to connect with a cross-section of people in the church and get involved.  Contact group leaders for summer schedules.
