Youth Ministries

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ  . . .
Colosssians 1:28

Why do we do youth ministry?

At Grace Covenant, we aim to produce youth who glorify and enjoy God (Is. 43:7; 48:11; 1 Co. 10:31; Php. 4:4) by loving Him and loving people (Mt. 22:37-40), which is manifested by their growth in grace (2 Pt. 3:17-18; cf. Jn. 14:15), commitment to Christ’s Church through service and fellowship (Ga. 5:13; He. 10:19-25; 1 Pt. 4:10-11), concern for the lost and ability to disciple them (1 Ti. 2:1-4; cf. Col. 4:5-6; 1 Pt. 3:13-16), and establishment in a biblical worldview (2 Ti. 3:16-17).

How will we endeavor to achieve these goals?

Such Christlikeness can only be produced by the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our youth (Ro. 8:1-11; Ga. 3:1-3), applying the means of grace (Mt. 28:19; Lk. 22:14-20; Ac. 2:42; 1 Ti. 2:1-4; 4:6-13) to their hearts and minds. We will provide avenues for the Spirit’s work through the means of grace by the discipleship in God’s Word, prayer together, involvement in the worship and life of the church, and service to Christ’s body.
