In Person Service in Quarantine

We have begun having in-person worship services in the mornings at 10:45am and evenings at 5pm. In order to maintain a worshipful spirit in light of the constant grace of God in Jesus Christ, even while in difficult circumstances, this is how we are congregating safely.

We are inviting different members of our church each week to the services, so that we can keep attendance under 50 people. We are also leaving some room for visitors too. If you are new to Grace Covenant, you can check us out through our streaming worship service or you can come on a Sunday morning.

If you do come on a Sunday, our doors will open for seating about 10 minutes before the service starts. We are also requiring all those who attend the in-person services to observe some COVID-19 restrictions for the protection and love of our congregation and larger New River Valley community:

  • If you have traveled in the past 14 or been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please join our streaming service but not our in-person service.
  • In addition to social distancing, masks are required for the duration of the service, so a greeter will direct you to put on a mask or use one of the extras we have on hand.
  • All who attended are also signing in with their name and contact information, so that if we know of a possible COVID-19 exposure, we can inform you, so when you arrive, a greeter will direct you to sign in at a station.

Finally, also keep in mind that we have a maximum attendance of 50 right now. We love to have visitors join us, but once we meet that maximum attendance, we cannot let anyone else in. We know these requirements are not ideal, but out of love for one another and our community, they will help us maintain safety while worshiping our Lord.
